Concentrated work on machines, control cabinets or in logistics requires bright, uniform lighting that is free from glare. Weidmüller offers a practical product range for this purpose in the form of WIL industrial lights for a 24 V DC power supply. The highly robust housings are made of hard-anodised extruded aluminium profile and LEDs with full encapsulation in PUR with an IP67 protection rating. The mounting of the lights directly on the housing ensures effective heat dissipation and therefore a service life of 60,000 hours. An additional highlight is the beam angle of 120°, which provides uniform illumination, even at short distances. In terms of illumination here too, Weidmüller industrial lighting offers a broad spectrum in the true sense of the word: with colour temperatures of 2700K, 4000K, 5000K, 5700K and 6500K, the right light colour is available for every application, from warm to daylight brightness to brilliant white. The product portfolio is rounded off by special versions with red, blue or multicoloured LEDs for signal indicators.

It’s so easy to install the luminaires. With a width of only 40 mm and a depth of 8 mm, the lights can be installed in any location, e.g. behind a folded edge or simply on a side wall. Eight different housing lengths are available, from 145 mm to 860 mm. The product range can therefore provide the right solution for every work task: from the compact light source behind an inspection flap to the uniform illumination of a control cabinet. The lights have pre-positioned mounting holes so that no additional fixing material, e.g. retaining clips or similar, is required. The 6.5 mm mounting holes are 225 mm apart to enable mounting in standard distribution boards and control cabinets. Magnetic mounting is also possible as an alternative. This can also be applied at a later date using adhesive film. This enables users to mount lights on distribution boards, control cabinets or work stations at any time with no need for drilling, to enable users to mount lights in any position and to remove them again without leaving residues. High-quality swivel brackets with no detent mechanisms are available as an additional mounting variant. The lights can therefore be easily swivelled into the optimum position or moved to the side during servicing work.

The 24 V DC power supply is via a standard 0.03 m cable, which is supplied ready-assembled with an M12 connector or with an open, 3 m long cable. Further cable lengths are also available with or without M12 connectors. A special 12 V version with an on-board vehicle plug and magnetic holder is available for trade workshops.The extensive range of accessories further expands the application options. These include a UV filter, a motion detector with adjustable switching time, a robust door switch and a 400 mA power supply unit with wide voltage input 85 V - 264 V AC. Using the M12 connectors, the electrical components can be installed without time-consuming wiring work - plug-and-produce.The housing length and colour temperature can be easily combined owing to the uniform design, which offers users extensive flexibility to create safe, uniform and comfortable lighting.
